and here is why...
We are becoming fed up by the high-pressure, sometimes misleading sales tactics used by some companies in order to make the most of Black Friday. It is for this reason that alongside a whopping 85% of independent retailers this year, we are not taking part in Black Friday.
We are building a culture that encourages people to gain knowledge from those that know eBikes best. Ask yourself a few questions… is it the exact product you actually wanted? Will you be able to get adequate after sales care and support from a Black Friday product? Does the company you’re buying from have good ethical and sustainable values?
We do not want our riders to feel pressured to buy. Nor would we want our riders to only be incentivized to us and our brands because of discounting. It sends a wrong message to our carefully selected brands, a wrong message to our team, and a wrong message to the industry, who is crying out for retailers such as us to offer a true level of service and support.
We couldn’t be prouder to stock the world's leading brands who use best in-class eBike systems and who do not cut corners within the manufacturing process for profitability's sake. We rely heavily on the quality of our customer service, and so when a customer invests their time, effort and money into us, we repay them with our undivided support.
What do we offer?
Our approach to Black Friday is in line with how we want to be perceived as a brand, with our engaged network of riders being able to purchase ex-display and ex-demo models at a discounted price - which continues to be available all year round. You can find our ‘ride away’ page here.
Our message to everyone this Black Friday is clear. We want to thank our riders in acknowledging the expertise and full service package that our team provides. We ask that wherever you purchase this Black Friday, that you spend thoughtfully on this day, but also think about the companies you are considering investing in.
