Co-founded by Islington based husband and wife team Megan Aylott and Steven Azancot, MEAME is a collective product of passion. The process was a play to Megan’s strengths who, as a Central St Martin’s graduate, had a solid design eye and a passion for functional fabric. Paired with Steven’s cycling experience, the couple were able to develop and establish a striking portfolio of beautiful and timeless pieces, which also function for the safety conscious cyclist.

Founder Megan explains; “From our own experience and research into the market we can see that whilst safety is a concern for every cyclist, many are still not prepared to sacrifice their style for the sake of their commute. Taking my experience within the luxury fashion market and Steven’s cycling acumen, we have created a brand to bridge this gap. The collection is a far cry from what you would expect from typical cycling attire. Not only are the pieces timeless and stylish, an emphasis on the fine technical details such as waterproofing and hidden reflectives, shows how much we as a brand appreciate that performance is just as important as aesthetics. We will always focus on classic styles rather than follow sports trends, but we believe in taking high fashion and making that technical.”
